You cannot register an IDN domain that uses more than one character script. If a domain name has both Tamil and Hindi letters it will be rejected — the name must be entirely in one language.
No two-character IDN domain registration is allowed. The domain name must have at least 3 characters and must not exceed 64 characters in total length.
IDN domains with hyphens in the third and fourth character positions will be automatically rejected by the registry during registration.
Only ideographic and alphanumeric language scripts are supported. Symbols, special characters, and unsupported encodings will not be accepted.
